Canon printer support

I just had a VERY nice experience with a Canon printer tech support rep.
She addressed the issue I was experiencing, and, actually, when she asked if there was anything else she could help me with, off went the Sylvania in my head and said yes, having problems with the Bluetooth wireless, and she wrapped that one up too.
She never asked if the printer was still in warranty ( it isn't) but just dove right in to guiding me through ALL of my difficulties and resolved every one. There was NO waiting time, no rush, and stood by until I printed my project to its finish. She spoke english without an accent. What a pleasure!
I now need to send these same compliments to Canon.
If you are considering purchasing a Canon printer, (which I HIGHLY recommend) consider the support after the sale.

I also had a great experience with the Canon rep when I had a problem with the set-up of a Canon printer I had just purchased. They are great people to deal with, I would also recommend Canon to anyone who is looking for a printer.

I've been using Canon color photo printers for many years with the same results, though I prefer HP laser printers for office use (black print only).

I have always had really good experiences with Canon's support, whether in regards to printers or cameras. They actually answer my questions directly and always give clear, concise advice that WORKS! That's why I keep buying Canon!

i had to call Canon once about my 9000 MKII. I'd had it several years and wanted to know how to use the front feed. They walked me right through it.

Sorry for the repetition, but I'm compelled to add. My first color photo printer was the i9900 nearly 10 years ago. I had a bad experience with a local camera dealer from whom a "service contract" was purchased along with the printer. Long story short, after three months of their repair, the printer was returned to me in still non-operating condition. I called Canon Inc. for help. After several conversations, Canon investigated the dealer, and then sent me a brand new i9900 printer. I was shocked that the manufacturer would take the responsibility of a bad dealer.

After purchasing a new iMac, I needed help with the driver. Yes, a call to Canon and the problem was solved.

Oh, I'm compelled to add. I think the original problem I experienced with my i9900 was actually my fault. Why? I switched to third-party ink. It seemed to work fine for about four months, then suddenly, all prints came out loaded with magenta. THAT is what the repair people were addressing. They didn't fix it, I did after I purchased a new replacement print head. THAT is why you may remember seeing me talk FOR original printer ink.

Oh, one more thing. I purchased a new Canon Pixma Pro9500 MarkII printer, anticipating that my original i9900 printer will soon fail. Has it? No, it keeps on printing. As a favor to a friend, a good friend, I made a 8.5x11 print of her, with nice portrait enhancements. She loved the result so much, she asked about small prints to enclose in her 2015 Christmas Cards. I just printed 30, 4x6 in size, using the old i9900 printer, and they came out beautifully. I'm not complimenting me, I'm complimenting Canon.

I have been given, over the past four years, an Epson and a HP printer, so I've experienced all three major brands. I won't bad mouth any specific company, only add that I continue to wave a high flag for Canon!!!!!

The most important thing that comes with any thing you buy is the service. That is what seller's should sell as all equipment has a problem now and then.
