Saw him for the first time today. He was in the trees halfway to the back of the cove. He saw me, flew right at me and landed about 4 feet away at the edge of the water. He allowed me to take my shots and then returned to the trees. Hopefully he will be setting up a nest and I will see more of him and his mate. They usually breed in groups, maybe I'll get lucky. Rare to see him come out in the day light.
