These were taken at my mothers housing development in one of their "lakes" by the golf course. I was driving by and noticed this pair of new ducks and was so happy to find out they were Black-bellies.
Thank goodness that I was there dressed to work in the yard at moms and had on junk clothes because by the time I got close to these guys (they were in the "marsh" part of the lake) I was wet, muddy and stinky! But I get to mark another bird off my list!
While I was there Joshua, the developments Sandhill Crane, stop by to see what I was doing. I also was able to get a photo of a Florida Mottled (Black) duck.
Super series. I really like these!
Those are great captures of really neat ducks. I've never seen them before.
Wonderful series.... I love the wonderful balance in that third one with The great background and the opposite facing!
Beautiful shots. I love the symmetry of 3 and 6. Really nice.
