I took a day trip out the desert yesterday. I spent a couple of hours taking photos, but it was very hot. here are the only three subject taken with the 150-600 sport lens. The scenic were grabbed out the car window. Just pulled off the side of the road and snapped them. The Spiney Crevice Lizard was shot with a Nest carbon fiber tripod and Nest Gimbal head.

Bozsek. How long did it take for your p[pictures to load. I had mine trying to load for at least 4 to 5 hours & finally turned the computer off cause I lost patience wating for the pictures to load. My camera is a D4s & the Sigma 150-600mm sport lens. You are definitely right about the lens taking great pictures. The pictures were taken at Zoo miami.

The camera body I used for this one was the 810. It takes a couple of seconds for each image to download. I download from the card and not the camera though. The card is a Lexar 400x sd if that helps. It shouldn't take that long for the images to download for you.

Thanks, Ringo. I was driving along this dirt road and there he was on top of a sage brush. He let me get out of the car, set up the tripod and do the shooting.

One of the design features I enjoy with this lens is how close it will focus. The 600 f/4 doesn't have that ability.

This was shot a bit after 8am in the morning. I got up at 4:30 and was out the door by 5am. Trying to beat the heat.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of herp photos posted on this forum. I enjoy working with the reptiles. There were a lot of horned and leopard lizards out as well.

Yes it is a shame but the number of people who love them are few . Most like the flowers better. I think they are beautiful and deserve a place and respect.
