Your exposures are so beautiful on these photos. A perfect balance. Would you mind sharing what the exposures were? Thank you Bozsik. Sandy
Thanks Sandy. the first seven are shot at shutter speeds of 1/5 to 1.5 sec @ f11. The last two were shot at a 250th and 100th sec @ f11.
Very well done. Ive been to Burney Falls and have several pics myself. But after seeing yours, I'm burning mine. :-)

Don't do that. Every shot someone takes of the falls is their own interpretation and souvenir. If you were selling them, it would be different if it didn't make money.
I take images because I enjoy looking back over them at a later date. I give most of my work away. Nobody wants to buy my images. There are too many photographers and just plain folks with good cameras that can do the same thing.
Most of the images people pay for are from photographers that have a good marketing plan. Someone in a magazine says they are great, so everyone wants to buy their shot. Kind of a silly game, but it is just the way it goes.
Thanks for the encouragement. My biggest problem is "seeing" a good photo. I don't trust my own judgement. Usually too critical. But I do enjoy the entire process.

I am East of Sacramento, and I spend a good deal of time in the Sierra. You are welcome to meet up with me some time if you have time to do that. I am heading for Smith, Nevada this weekend, which is a bit South of you by 2 hours I think. But sometime in the future, just let me know if that sounds interesting to you.
I shoot along the Eastern Sierra in the Fall to capture the colors as well. That might be a good time. It is much cooler then. Hwy 395 has plenty of great locations right off the Hwy.
Nicely done. I particularly like the 2nd and 3rd.
Those are beautiful, David!
I love how you've isolated the parts of the falls,David, as then you can see the wonderful shapes and patterns made from water hitting the rocks at various levels. Nicely done.
BEautiful - some of them look magical;)

I was really drawn in by the myriad of smaller sets of falls, and chose the telephoto lens to isolate some of them. I am glad so many have enjoyed these shots.

I sure felt that way while I was there shooting, Susan.
