Either that or they could play movie on that screen for the car behind them :)

Fantastic idea. Now, if we can keep the insurance companies out of the loop and get the courts to declare that you are still responsible for the safe operation of your vehicle despite the "help" from the camera, it might actually work in this country.

I'm sure it will work really good for the first 24 hours and then just like everything else in the trucking industry need service. The amount of jarring a truck sustains will have a technician busy along with the mechanic who is constantly changing light bulbs on the trailer. I can also see the law suits coming with the strategy of "If you hadn't encouraged my client to pass by showing him what was in front of you, he wouldn't have tried to pass into a misrepresented space." I wouldn't want any part of this idea. Of course there's also the other angle. If the trucking company would have had this device on their trailers, or had it working, my client ........... No thanks.

More than likely you'll see banner ads creeping along the bottom of the screen

I've always appreciated Samsung (a South Korean company), since I learned that they paid for NYC's Korean War Memorial.
