Having shot the former in a previous post, I thought I would illustrate some from a series shots from a single burst with the 80-400 g lens.
On the first image I edited out the band on the right leg of the bird. Didn't get to working the others yet.

These are great examples of all components coming together to make a great shot, David. Beautiful subjects against beautiful backgrounds are a pleasure to view.

Thanks Donna. I think good backgrounds are worth half the value of the subject being shot. They can make, or break, a great photo.
