Year round except when the wind is blowing hard. In the summer on the weekends it is almost non stop. This is one of the few legal places to base jump.

Once in awhile someone will get wet. It's a long hike back to the top for a 15 sec. ride down.

I was scheduled to jump the Gorge in 1992. 2 weeks before the jump I blew out my left shoulder at 7000 feet when my shoot opened incorrectly. I never was able to build up the guts for the Gorge jump again.
