Peak Design Sling connection points

Has anyone attached the Sling to one side of the camera on the little metal strap connector and the bottom of a battery pack that has also a metal connector? (Not the tripod area, but the metal connector to the side on the bottom)

I have three on my D7100. Love the way I can quickly go from neck strap to sling or remove entirely for the tripod. I keep checking the attachments for ware. they seem to be alright. Replacements are inexpensive. Also easy to go from one camera to another. Great product although pricey.

Yes. I have mine connected to the lug as well as on my boem-1 camera plate. I'll see if I can find a photo of the setup. I've had zero issues with it.

I love Peak Design. I have both the sling and the clutch installed on my camera at the same time and neither interferes with attachment to a tripod. Great products!

Thanks everyone. I like the my Black Rapid, but I don't like it attached to the tripod plate.

Does it get in the way when you are in portrait mode?

No, but I keep my strap on all the time and when I set my camera down it's not stable because it has to set on the tripod attachment.

Thanks!
I agree but other than that I like the br strap
Was just wondering if you attached to the lugs like they say does it get in the way
I had another strap that did that and it bothered me when in portrait orientation.
