Current body is a D610 that is great. New camera is a used D800 purchased from Ebay with less than 8000 clicks. A USA model with all original items and box. Cosmetically in great shape and so far seems to be in great mechanical shape. Haven't put it through its paces but I'll keep the forum posted as I do, I'm fine with revealing any warts I may come across. This weekend I hope to process some RAW files to see how my Mac handles the size. If anyone has any specific question just let me know. More to come...

I traded in my d600 for the d800, (plus some $$), and I have never looked back. The d800 is a great camera. You will enjoy it! Congratulations.

Just did a few handheld shots in the backyard with a nikon 105mm VR macro lens. Not seeing blur with handheld, was shooting at 1/500 speed so that helped. Here's 2 examples with minimal cropping and PP in LR. I was also concerned how LR and my Mac would deal with large files, so far no problems
Thanks to all for feedback, appreciated.
