Great shots! Been there and done that!
Thanks...and another special time is lying in a canvas tent & hearing them roar nearby...conjures all kinds of images.

Nice shots. "Lions Hunting" has a special atmosphere about it.
Thanks. Hope these animal sanctuaries persist far into the future. They offer insight into the survival trials of our ancient ancestors.

Africa is on my bucket list. I'll have to start saving as soon as I get back next June from Israel.
Good choice. Over time, we've visited a lot of places. When asked , we agree that the African safari tops the list.

Since my trip to Spain was cancelled this year by the tour company on account of coronavirus, I'm thinking of slightly more than doubling my investment and going next summer on a trip to Kenya and Tanzania. A safari is one of the several trips on my bucket list. I'd probably rent a second camera and lens so I had a good range of focal lengths. Would my 150-600 be too big? I can't afford anything private or a Nat Geo trip, but the one I'm thinking of is a small group and Toyota Landcruiser 4x4s are used throughout the itinerary (2-weeks). Tentatively planning for mid-June.
