And it's on my mind again
Desire to touch you softly
Before playing with your hair
This fire in his mind

Leading Lines

I like this one. I think I "Get" it. Though how the song or poem plays in I have no idea. But the leading lines to where to me is making a social statement about a group of people. Could be the Philpinos as that is who you usually photograph. Could also be any number of other nationalitities that have an up hill battle.
The path is crooked and uneven. Is it leading to moderate wealth as the cars in the background indicate or the hovels in the foreground.
I like the HDR treatment or what ever similar you used. It gives it a surreal look that might be another statement.

Shush shush CM. I spent time in the bad boys room for making social statements lol. THIS is not the place for it and I received 100 lines and a whack across the knuckles!

Oh what the heck. Yep your right so are today's prize winner.
The song just had the right title so chucked it in as a curved ball! When your artistic head is on you are allowed these moments.
Thank you for calling by Judy very much appreciated I can assure you

Crikey! This is a bit arty-thingy isn't it Billy? Messed up three or four good pictures here I reckon - love the bridge thing, and the lady (when she's the right way up), and the trees and the clouds are great too - is this a way of posting multiple shots when more than one breaks the rules? Like your style.

I see modernity destroying historical culture, greed destroying the environment. The anguish on the woman's face; the world has literally turned her upside down.

I see Billyspad taking his expertise, despite doddering old age and besotted vision  , to combine classic photographic elements, like leading lines, to express his own world vision.

Bravo!

This image coming from the guy that said he is shallow....and will die shallow..just TODAY?!..hahahaa...nice!
This doesn't quite work for me as cool as it is.
The balance is just not there.
The upside down lady is just too dominant, or dark, and I'm not sure it wouldn't work just fine with her gone, or at most, very transparent.
The right side is just to heavy given the open sky on the left.
Isn't the natural flow to read left to right? If there is heavy right side imagery, then the eye just parks over there more than if the imagery is heavy left sided.

I have the occasional foray into the arty bit fella. Working on a few designs for tee shirts actually. Do not fear normal service will be resumed shortly!

Thank you for dropping much appreciated

You Sir can come here again cos I had the idea, constructed it, but always felt something was not quite right and you have hit the nail on the head. Thanks my man for taking the time to look as closely as you have done.

However before we finalize this arrangement could we cease with doddering old age huh. Please remember what a sensitive soul Billy is.

Simple solution would be to just flip it.

Sorry if I offended you, Billy. A mature soul.

Guess I don't get it. Just looks mish-mash to me. I like a more simplistic style.

Is that a good surprise or a bad surprise? What about it is surprising?

I am so used to seeing Billy's super-cooked images of cars and stuff that this glimpse of his 'other side' was a surprise to me.
The technique needs a little mastery, but at least it's not HDR cars.
