Ahhhh! Dewman this is a fantastic shot. I have been trying to get such a shot of my Stella D'Oro. This definitely looks like it is the same flower. What time of day did you shoot?

Not only is yellow my favorite color, which gives this photo a big plus, but it's an amazing capture, Dewman! I love the angle you chose to shoot it from as well as the lighting and shadows. I really need to get a Pentax digital camera to put my lenses on!

Thanks, Corolyn. If memory serves me, it was about 5 p.m. I love that time of the afternoon, with it's lengthening shadows and color shift.

I'm glad I was able to present your favorite color, m'lady! And YES! You definitely do need a Pentax DSLR! The color rendition of their lenses is legendary. Before I receive a lot of flak, this isn't meant to say that other brands do NOT have their accolades, but.... just sayin'..... I LOVE MY PENTAX!

Thanks, Merrytexan. I'm always glad to have someone identify my flowers. I'm dumb as a post when it comes to that! I'm really enjoying the deep color rendition of this lens. It only seems to get better and better! Pentax!
