Those are indeed snowy egrets, not Osprey.

Sorry, I do stand corrected.. They are Great Egrets. I have a nest of osprey in my back yard..lol

And I misquoted myself calling them Snowys rather than Great Egrets. The photos are gorgeous by the way. Could you tell me what camera and lens you used at how far were you from the birds. I shoot a lot of wildlife myself and am always interested in how folks get such great shots.

My camera is a Fuji S1. My camera has a built in lens. I think it was on 400. The egrets were right in the trees around the edge of the lake along the walking path. So I would say I was maybe 25 ft. The trees are very tall.

Well apart from one or two places in England we do not see Ospreys but we do see what you photographed and they are GREAT WHITE EGRETS. Great images wrong bird!!
