The day was so wet & dismal, there is virtually no color in these pics at all--they are almost black & white. This beach is normally fairly flat & not a particularly good surfing beach, but a 15' swell & near gale force winds certainly got things moving. Please download for a better look.

All of these fine photos depict very nicely the awesome power of the ocean. I think you did really well with this set.

They sure did! Beautiful shots of the angry surf, Earl, and the lack of color just adds to the mood of the scenes.

A lower viewpoint(camera angle) would have made decent shots out of all of them.
