OK, it is obvious from the red leg bands that this bee is from a group of trained bees from a traveling "Bee-Flea Circus". How else would you get such great shots??? My experience with bees is now you see them now you don't.

Great shots, thanks for sharing.

still have something about them that stops you from throwing them in the waste bin...
I have a folder that I named "Mood Shots" to keep them in...
Do you reckon these shots are worth keeping...the first one is my favourite...

I would definitely keep these Ron. The first is my favorite too. But even though you think them failures. They will bring back memories to you of your efforts and what you might do to improve. I too have a file of "failures". Keep them by all means.

I don't see why you consider these photos a failure. I would be happy if they were mine.

They are OK but I was referring to the bees being out of focus... :-D

I like the first and the second best, Ron! I think they're good! It's not easy to catch a BIF (bee in flight!).

I have a lot of good BIF but these I've put these in my "Mood" folder...the bees aren't sharp but the overall shot still has some appeal...to me anyway... :-D
