I can't seem to pass up buzzards either. LOVE the side view!
Nice BIF. I like the wing position.

Two of them flew in my backyard last week (turkey buzzards). What a sight!

If you want them in your yard, just toss out a "road kill" and they'll come......LOL!!
Thanks Folks. I'm starting to win my photography buddy over with my buzzard photos. He hates them and doesn't see the beauty. Now If I can get him to at least give them a try.
Ya gotta admit though...their not pretty to look at.
One nice thing about the turkey vulture is it's not a shy bird and they are plentiful. This make them really good subjects, especially if you want to practice your panning and bif shots. When you get down to it they are rather good looking bird and big to boot.
Good shot by the way.
The detail is great. Thanks for sharing!
Remind your friend that without Buzzards he would be up to his headlights in roadkill and disease. Besides they are beautiful in flight. They can ride thurmals for hours, if we could conserve energy like that gas would back to .20 a gallon.
Do you mind if I post a few of the buzzards I captures the other day
