I coached for about 19 years. I still remember it very fondly, but don't miss some of the parents at all. They took a fun game that the kids loved, and ruined it for everyone.
I sure wish I had a photo like this of me with one of my daughters. I would cherish it forever as a reminder of the parts I loved about it.

You hit the nail squarely on the head, Don! The kids were a delight..... some of the parents were a nightmare! It's sad to think of the example some of them set for their children. But, in spite of that, we took first place five years out of seven.
