I think my odds are backwards. No they are just pain white clover (the blooms are white). A lot of our clover has the white streak through the leaf, but not all of it. Some have solid colored leaves and I find just as many in those. I saw 4 in the yard today on the way to the barn.

Amazing indeed. I have never found a 4 leaf one, yet my Mom while alive, used to find them regularly. During a family reunion ( over 20 people ) we all tried to find some and no one did ( except her, of course).

I have found them with 4 leaves, 5, 6, and 7. No 8 leaf clovers yet. I don't bother to pick them and save them unless they have 5, 6 or 7. I have only found ONE 6 leaf clover, but many 5 and 7 leaf ones.
From me to you, the best of luck!

I guess I've found thousands over the years and just as you mentioned above........once, I found a patch that had, literally, hundreds of them..........didn't change my "luck", though.....and like "Turbo", my Mom could find them, too!....

Don't worry everyone, I'm sure that you can spray for them, I know that some spray will work on blackberry s and even poison ivy.

That is strange. This site says finding one, the odds are 10,000 to 1. Better grab a sack or head to the lottery ticket store.

This is what I've always called the "Shamrock".....definitely different from the "clover"........

I'm so glad you posted this ! I thought I was the only "odd-ball" that could spot a 4 leaf clover with just a glance. I have Marked area were they were so my Grandkids could find them ...but nope.
I love to give them to people, you might think you gave them a rare gem. Nice meeting you.....

Just thought I'd show you a pic of my filly that won the Yearling World Grand Championship years ago. I helped with her birth, raised her, trained her. I was so proud that she beat the other fillies AND the stallions. there were 37 in her class for the championship and we were the first family ever to win TWO places in a championship at the WGC show. We got 5th with the other filly.
This picture was from the filly championship before she went back and won the GrandC.

My former mother-in-law has many 4-leaf clovers next to her driveway. Too many to count.

Yep...me too. Maybe I just don't know they come bigger than 4 leaf. I'll just keep my eyes open here and there when I am out and about again.
