Did you catch that ray? Good shot.
Here's a few Dall Sheep.
Thanks for looking,

Scratching the nose and watching Mom eat.
Standing there being cute.
Nice ram walking up to say, hello.
A few eagle shots. This one was standing on a chunk of ice eating a rabbit. She got nervous at me taking her picture, turned around and put the carcass in her mouth, jumped up with one flap of her wings and transferred the carcass to her claws, then flew away.
These shots are a long ways off but I couldn't resist the temptation to try to record it.
Thanks for looking,
Lee

Perry,
Thanks for the comments....much appreciated. I looked at your avatar...it looks like a largemouth bass you have there. When I lived in OR , that was one of my favorite eating freshwater fish, number two to the Crappie.
Thanks for the memory.

LARGEMOUTH BASS ON A FLY ROD FROM FARM POND
Here's one I caught for your remembrance......[/quote]
Silverhawk,
Now there we go! What wonderful memories! Those farm ponds always had a surprise or two in store. We don't have warm water fish in Alaska but we have literally thousands of ponds and lakes that look like they should have bass and crappie. Good thing I like salmon, too.
Thanks for the remembrance,
Lee

No Magpies here, but when out west I tried to get shots of them. I thought they looked like some exotic bird. I was surprised to learn these beautiful birds were magpies. Seems like they should have a more elegant name.
