Acquired a Tamron 16-300mm lens yesterday. Took some shots around my house. Not looking for critique on composition, but would like input on sharpness of the lens as you see it.

You have so much color blow-out going on with these images, it's difficult to evaluate lens sharpness. Shooting subjects in the shade will give a far more accurate indication about sharpness.

i think the third shot is the best rich. i like to shoot flowers in early morning or late afternoon or evening. the lighting is much better at those times of day. :P
