Whistler ducks are a small breed & are strange in that they do not seem to possess the ducks inherited love of water. I have seen thousands of these ducks on land, sometimes miles from water, but have never seen one on the water. Please download for better details.

Their more streamline profile reminds me a little of our native Wood ducks which spend considerable time and prefer to nest in the trees.

Fine looking ducks Earl, very nice set. :D
They look like a cross between a duck and turkey. The last pic really shows the coloring similarity
