Thanks jaymatt. This puppy was kind of hard to miss, and was adamant that it wanted its picture taken.

Beautiful. I can see why you were intrigued by this bush, and the green background really sets it apart.

Thank you Vicki. I must admit to manipulating the background colors just a bit so they would make the blossoms pop.

Thanks Tony. This flower was planted in the middle of the guy's front yard so it was fairly easy to move around to find a good background.

They're azaleas and not rhodies? I see them a lot around here and just love them. Thanks for education. I'm now 10% smarter.

They look very similar to the wild azaleas I have seen in NC. Great pic.

That is beautiful Bob - almost impossible to get an orange Azalea in UK - nicely captured BTW.

Thanks Photobud. I must be overly domesticated ...... all of the azaleas I've seen so far were in people's gardens. I'll have to look more closely when I'm out in the countryside.

Thanks Bill. I'll extend your admiration for the color to my neighbor who grew it. This is the first year I've ever seen an orange one.

Thanks Jim. It's fun living in a neighborhood where we have such good gardeners living near us.
