Near where I live the cormarants on occassion will spend the night on these wires.I drive by all the time hoping to photograph them . Well there they were again. I took a bunch of photos , should have used a tripod. It is so cool to watch as you can hear them squabbling with each other for space. These were taken when the sun was almost set. Would love to hear what you think . :-)

The second shot looks like the music score to Beethovans Fifth Symphony. With a little adjustment they will be first rate shots

sure is ha ha... the pics do not even show how many it is just incredible... and they sqawk and honk at each other vying for a spot on the wires. It is kinda comical.

Funny I thought they looked like music notes also, I just downloaded the photos and posted them here quickly for folks to see as I thought it was so interesting. I took a bunch but they were hard shots to get. I just think it is so interesting that they perch on the wires like that. Usually I have only seen them on rocks.

Great shots! This would make great letterhead stationery for a music teacher.

VERY cool!
I'd have to stop for a while to watch and listen, too, if I passed that while driving!

Tried some tweaking in hopes to see more detail and added some vignetting for effect. Hope it was okay (and I hope it turned out!) Here goes....

It's different. I like them both. I like the black silhouette of mine, and I like yours too.
