Just stepped out of the car and looked into the calla lily. Thought I would take a stab at capturing this guy before he left. The second shot is just one of the irises in our yard.

So, you were doing more drive-bys today? Pretty little green bug you stepped out for, great focus and detail of him. JUST love the iris!!!

Beautiful shots, David! Can't ID the bug, but I certainly can the gorgeous bearded iris, because it's the kind that won't grow well here. :-(

I wait every year for the iris to bloom. We have many varieties in our yard. It is one of my wife's favorite flowers...as well as mine.

Thank you Donna. These iris began as a couple outside the front door. Now they are a 15 foot section of them. You are welcome to come and capture photos any time.
