I was an aspiring photographer back in the day (70's) but gave it up to earn a living. I bought a Nikon D7100 kit from Costco last year and am enjoying it immensely.
The learning curve looks never ending. I have been reading your posts for a few months and am learning lots of valuable stuff from them. Your answers are informative and easy to understand. I am looking forward to asking questions as the need arises.

Welcome to the HOG, Barry. You will find much to do, see and learn here. We look forward to seeing some of your photographic work. I live just up the road from you in Carpinteria. Lots to photograph along the coast. What do you like to photograph?

Welcome to the Hog Barry, I lived in Oxnard for 15 years.
Greetings Barry, and welcome to the UHH.
Welcome to UHH Barry, glad you finally joined us. I also shoot the Nikon D7100, one awesome machine. The only complaint I have is the small buffer when shooting in burst.
Have fun, learn and enjoy the forum.
