Home of the world famous Round Rock donuts, and they are, once when I was in Europe, either France, Italy, or Spain, I don't recall which, when a local I was talking to found out I was from Texas, they immediately asked if I had ever had Round Rock donuts, which of course I have many times and still believe them to be the absolute best donuts I have ever had (eat your heart out KrispyKreme!)
I have bought many a dozen donuts! Places I do business with have received them. There are workers outside now, working on the curbs. They got donuts earlier this week!
And, there really is a round rock in the creek that the town was named after!

I believe you Pat.... Know exactly where you are. Worked for Dresser Wayne before they moved to Round Rock (and after). If you go to the 'County Line' for ribs, I hope you take a camera with you..... I miss that place. I know it is out of town, but pretty sure you know where it is. Still haven't figured out how the Colorado River wound up there, but it didn't the taste of the ribs.
I live in Myakka City, Fl. People that know the area think we are a bunch of toothless gun toting pickup truck driving rednecks. Just to set the story straight I have all my teeth.
At the moment, South Korea, otherwise Sinsheim, Germany, and very occasionally HOME, just outside Stratford on Avon, England!

Every time I see In Hiding makes me want to be sure bathroom blinds are pulled shut !
It isn't any big secret. Either the information was never collected when I registered or, more likely, my ineptitude at digital deeds left some authorization overlooked.
On the other hand, I can see why, without any secret-agent intent, people might want to withhold that information from everyone in the world with access to a computer. For instance, on a social site I gave a cheery wave to a schoolmate I haven't seen in almost 50 years. Next thing you know he's emailing me about a protracted cross-country trip he's about to embark
upon that will take him right through here. Such a coincidence, eh? My silence to that news feels really awkward but I don't want to host some dimly remembered character.
Another thing: my inner creep perks right up when I come across even remotely potentially erotic threads of interest. Yeah, I know, it is like John Lennon said about our tendency to leer, "It's all in yer head, you know" and, after all, the subject here is photography.
Finally, it appears to me that some UHH participants are holding at least many tens of thousands of dollars of highly portable gear. I'm just saying...

Never heard of it, but thanks for the update on the population.

Stratford on Avon; nice area of England.
Oh! I'm so glad to see everybody again. Back from surgery and hosp and on the mend. What a JOY to be back. When I first joined up my id thing said "in hiding". I have no idea why except that I don't fill out stuff too well! Although I live in western Oregon, south of Portland now, I am a buckeye to the bone as they say, so out of pride I put my origins, OHIO. I love to see where people are from. Folks, we got people from all over the place! What fun and what a joy!!!!!
Just tried to change my location, It is Arizona. I like to see where the members are from. I travel extensively and would like to ask members about their area for possible shooting opportunities.

Just a question. If you love Ohio so much and consider it home, why are you living in Oregon?

I belong to many forums and would think of some real creative screen names. I would come back to to those forums months later, read them and think to myself " Gees that is a really stupid, dumb a$$ post " then realize that the poster was I
