Have these in one of my flower beds. Blooms come out
but only last one day and then others appear.

Can anyone advise me the exact name of this plant?

I think looking at the flat bloom and the thin foliage that this is a species of Japaneese iris ensata. But I have not found this exact one. Sorry.

It's Neomarica gracillis better known as walking iris.

You are correct on the walking part. Puts out shoots
which go to the ground and take root. Has come completely
out of my flower bed and into the lawn.

Thanks

They certainly do and will "walk" all over the yard. They're beautiful plants though.
