You gotta do something about your backgrounds
Hurts these shots a lot
Any background is better than these
1 and 2 need to be cropped close as well
Looks like you tried the rule of 3rds here
That doesn't work here
Ghost shadows on background. Missing limbs in #3. One and Two need cropped.
Oh and PalePictures is right about the backgrounds.
One of these is going to get picked for mag cover, my thinking in leaving the space was for cover announcements, these where printed on site as a mock magazine covers so I had to have a light back ground. I should have mentioned this in my post sorry. Maybe I should do green screen then photoshop or do you know of a faster way to do on site prints for a mock magazine cover? Another problem I had was keeping track of who's in the photo as I need to match up with release. I did 80 portraits that day who does one keep track. do I need to place a number in the photo?
Everything is still too pinkish. Take your models outside and snap a few and compare, then you'll see how you need a different colored backgraound and more reflective lighting. But I wish we all had your great subjects. They act like they love thier photos taken. Also, you said the top area has so much empty space for captions, but I think if you get in closer to your subjects then P/S your photo on a page, would be better maybe.
Photos good need tight on framing and could be ok.
