Erich, if I'm going to be out early in the morning, might as well go for the backlighting :) Actually, I thought these were a bit too busy and harsh for the subjects; I'm becoming overly self-critical; maybe a good thing, but not as much fun :)

I only found a few pedals in no. 1 and no. 2 that were a bit blown out. For the most part, you can still see good detail in the flowers. Busy, that is completely subjective here. It is not like there are things lying around that distract, or twigs and such in the background. I also don't think they are harsh at all. You could always set your rear screen on your camera to flash when it detects areas that are blown out. I sometimes do that; but then the flashing gets me annoyed.
