This is my very first attempt.
If anyone wants free softtware I believe Serif do a free download.I used the latest Serif for this and it stitches well. I should have used a tripod but this was hand held so is not level.

I try all software and found the 'free version wanting by a large margin. As free software, you may find some satisfaction using it but if you want to pass to a higher caliber you will be stuck until you consider coughing up between 50 to 500$. Some are not even sold unless you purchase a hardware solution!!!

One of the best, in my opinion, is PTGUI. Try it for free for a month and see the difference, literally. http://www.ptgui.com/

Thanks, I appreciate that. I shoot a lot of them each year. I've also done a few with double rows. A number of them go up to 50 or more images. It lends more challenge to my photography. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Wow,

Still more great panos and some recent ones with an international flair.

Keep 'em coming.

Eric

Here's a couple from yesterday, the clouds just begged to be captured.

I like the second one. The cloud color or lack thereof lends itself to make a beautiful B&W image.
