Who needs to color Easter eggs? This lovely clutch of eggs come from beautiful happy healthy chickens who roam free on a farm in Cocoa, Florida.

I think your right on on your focus. Your depth of field encompasses the whole basket leaving the other basket slightly out of focus .
I do think the angle of the shot is off. I feel like the eggs are falling out of the basket. I think maybe if you got a little lower and leveled out your camera. Get rid of the egg carton and include more of the second basket.
Thanks for your reply, yes I realized after the egg box should have gone!

I saw this photo as having a rainbow tolerance theme, "Regardless of Color We are All-Good-Eggs." This way the eggs become the theme and the focus is there, the basket clutters the photo.
The basket is not the story, simply documentation. I used a vignetting off center toward upper right to shade down the basket yet allowing it to seen as the source of the straws.
Good shot, it is hard to get white eggs without clipping. I appreciate you have the old age spot egg, looks similar to my hands!!! With your permission I could post my interpretation.
Really like the eggs in their natural pastel colors rather than compliments of Paas egg dye. The "feel" I get from looking at them is a soft warm feel which is enhanced by the natural basket. That foam commercial egg tray in the left rear is a definite distraction, and the image would probably be more effective shot from lower, catching the eggs from more of an angle rather than so straight-down.
