Beautiful shots of all the different stages, Ron! I recently purchased my first hibiscus plant and was surprised to learn that those gorgeous blooms only last a day -- but as long as they keep on coming . . .

We have eight of them STVest...all different colours. The fact they keep blooming is great...

What a beautiful series of shots, Ron! Sherry is right. The blooms only last a day here unless we're having cooler than usual temperatures. In that case they might last a day and a half. :-D

LOL - yes, central Washington State, USA, is covered with blooms and blossoms in March and April: commercial fruit orchards + all the usual perennials + ornamental fruit trees + wildflowers among the green (for a very short time) sagebrush...

Sorry my remarks were misleading :)
