Granny is looking pretty good but what's up with the others? Close encounters of the barbed wire kind or did the herd forget their combs whis morning? :)

barbed wire takes its toll, unfortunately.
and their still carrying most of their heavy winter coats.
Won't be long now and they will begin to look lean and mean.

Maybe they're like buffalo. They look pretty ragged while losing their hair too.

Yep, it's nice to see the herd again. The only time we seem to see deer is on the side of Hwy 96.

Lol, I try not to get that close these days. Just after we moved here I hit an elk at 75 mph. It's a good thing that we were in the Suburban, only $2500.00 worth of damage.

you were lucky with that number..now a day you ding a fender and that alone costs more than the price of the car.

Totally! We have a 2008 Kia Optima that has 8 (I believe) airbags. If anything at all sets off those airbags, the price of those alone would total the car, forget the body damage. Maybe it's a good thing that its sitting in the yard with a blown motor. :)
Don, the critters know where to get the good snacks and fresh water.

Good morning and happy Easter to you Marilyn. It is good to see the extended family came for a drink at your place. I still haven't got the deer to come back yet but there was a a flock of 9 turkeys this last week. I hope you have a happy and blessed day. Are you driving your new car to Easter dinner with you son and daughter in law or are they coming to you?
