Here is my youngest son, not really a baby anymore. This was a field next to our church. I wanted some practice with back lighting, so I bribed the boys with Taco Bell to get some pictures.

very nice photo. love the pose and expression. i am nit a portrait photographer, but skin tome is kinda pale. i woild also crop out most of the overexposed sky.

I love their burritos! ;) I did try to enhance the colors a bit, because the original was a little bland. My monitor is not calibrated, so that's a handicap right now. A calibrator is next on my to buy list.
Well, I'm not much help, either, Carey. I like everything about this photo. Hands in the pockets rarely works well, but it just seems right in this case.

I love the colour, the focus and the setting. It's wonderful!
(if you had him just tuck his thumbs in his pockets and have the rest of his hands out side of the pocket, it would have given you that relaxed look but also made it a little more pleasing to the viewer).
I actually like the hands in the pockets - seems to add some story to the photo for me. Great photo btw.
