Panorama mistake

I don't know if I can upload the picture but I will try. The mistake I made was not to shoot the scene vertically. I was pleased that the five shots seamed perfectly but the end result was very narrow. Perhaps next fall I will return and try to get it right. (I downsized the quality and file size to see if I can upload it here.)

It looks like the download isn't working. Sorry. You can see in the preview what I meant about the panorama being too narrow.

It downloaded OK for me Charles...could be a great shot if it was in a better ratio..maybe you stitched too many pics together...? This will make it too long and narrow...

Thanks Ron. I wanted the colour to the left and the rocks and logs to the right in the scene. I just needed more height in the picture so if I shoot vertically in a wide shot I think that would give a better ratio. It would take a few more pics but I think the result would be awesome.

Works for me. Nice, and without a 'kiting' seam.

Thanks djtravels. A full-sensored camera would also help but I don't have one yet.

Takes awhile to pan across the downloaded magnified view! Whew...

There's a lot of nice shots here and you did a great job of stitching them together. Yeah, so it's long and lean. You could always stitch fewer together and get several nice pics also.

Thanks Ron. Perhaps I could get some hip waders and get some shots of the waterfalls just above the logs on the right. It is a beautiful scene I hope to capture in its fulness.

I like it  Download works, and it's big and bold zoomed in!

Thanks Fullframe. I was curious to see how pictures of moving water would seam together and I was pleased with the result. You don't always get what you want but you can always keep trying.
