Great shot Greg!

No cypress swamps in Iowa.....but we do see some beautiful birds here.

Greg my 400 mm arrives this Tuesday, do you use a filter for protection? If so, what kind? Thank you

Have fun with it Bigstrike, you will love it. I don't use a filter, just a lens cap when not in use, very careful with it. Enjoy, look forward to seeing some posts

Very nice Gregory! I saw my first of the year Great Egret and Great Blue Heron today. Was pretty surprised to see either one since I still have about 18" of snow pack in my yard. Most lakes and ponds are still mostly frozen. I saw them in a salt march along the coast here in Southern Maine. That's about the only open water for them.

Thanks so much Saleavitt10, so glad you enjoyed, always appreciate your looking and kind comment. I guess their internal clock told them it was spring, hopefully it won't be far off, and you will enjoy them til they return to my area. Luckily I have some that stay year round.
