Nice shot. Photographing a GHO in flight has to be a tough assignment. You did well. They fly so quietly and mostly at night so I would take whatever I could get.

Thanks for taking a look Boomboom, I have 3 GHO nests i'm monitoring. This is the only owl that will fly away from its nest and I have about 6-8 seconds to get my shots. The other two nests are higher in their tree and don't leave the nest.

Yes and Snowy owls too but they don't stay around long.
