I am in awe! These are stunning images!
I really think that anyone that actually has the pleasure of watching the Northern Lights is in awe! Especially if there is a lot of color.
I might add that sometimes our human eyes don't pick up a lot of this. What we might see is something that looks like a cloud moving around in the sky in the dark. But, the camera..can see in the dark (so to speak) with the shutter open for seconds. Then when your LCD picture opens with the image on it, it's very common to hear oohs and awes! Such fun!

All were taken with the Rokinon 14mm lens. I also should say that the reflections are on ice.
So jealous of getting to see those live. Great shots. One day I'll make it to Alaska or Iceland and I hope there is a huge solar storm of luck on my side when I do.

Super cool! And here I thought I needed to get to Alaska in the winter time to see this. Thanks for sharing, the downloads are stunning.

Outstanding display - you captured the moment as few others could. The hair was standing up on my arms in harmony with the electrical disturbances in the atmosphere. Good on ya Mate!

These are fantastic. I read about it; but here in New Jersey we are not really far enough north. I did, several years ago, see a very dim display; but nothing like what you have here. Wish, just once, that I would be in a place to witness this phenomenon and get a photo of it.
Thanks again everyone..I'm so glad you liked them!
What a cool set! I will never get to see these so thanks for posting. Hope to see more.
Nerver say "never", Jean. I hope you get to see them!
Thanks for commenting.

Good for you Marsha, I am glad you got to catch this great experience. It was way too cloudy here for anything to be visible.
