True.........but it makes up, for that fact, with multiple features
with 16Megs and a 2000MM VR 2.8 Super Zoom......its most certainly
a camera, i would reccomend to you, it weighs 3 Lbs......has really nice, in camera editing..
and I"m sure I"m sure your back and neck, will be thankful for, and if you purchase one, its the perfect camera for vacations, I think
covering everything from Macro shots to 2000MM VR Zoom Shots, do I have you thinking yet??

It's specs read 31.8 oz in weight, which is 2 POUNDS! Very feature-packed for a light package. I wish it had a larger sensor and shot in raw, that's all.

all I can tell you, is that, its a large camera, and very good looking in person, it truly resembles a DSLR.....
and its feature rich, for when you dont feel like taking a bunch of lenses along with your DSLR, or when you are planning a trip or vacation, its the perfect camera to bring along, in my opinion....

Sorry to hear about the snow... You all have had too much already. Be careful that all that white reflective stuff out there doesn't throw off your white balance!

Good luck with it! I am thinking about getting one also although I really don't need another camera😄 I noticed in the review though that it doesn't shoot RAW, only jpeg.

Me too was at the zone of gotta have then read that, most dissapointed as want to upgrade the Bridge in the triology of cameras (compact, bridge and dslr) so going to opt for the hs50exr from fuji instead

Over the course of my life, I probably took a million pictures before I switched to raw on my DSLRs. I have a couple of little compact cameras that don't shoot raw. There's more to photography than shooting raw. I like the 83x zoom, and I might just get this, raw or not.

Well guys, yesterday my favorite photography store Berger Bros... called me, and told me that they recieved a shipment,of Nikon"s newest camera the P900, they knew I wanted one, as so, I drove over there, and got to see and play with this newest addition to Nikons bridge camera line. The Camera is Large!.....and quite good looking
it takes a 67MM filter, which I put on my new purchase......
the zoom is beyond words!!........you start out at 2.8MM VR
and can zoom up to 2000 MM when you will be at 6.5 MM....
because of the weather, I havent been able to shoot, any good sample shots yet, but I will very soon, In the mean time, here is a photo of the camera P.S........My Nikon D800.will be getting quite a rest, with this newest addition, to my Camera Arsenal....
Well guys, yesterday my favorite photography store... (show quote)

Does the 2.8 stay constant thru the zoom range or does it get smaller at 2000

I'm sure you actually mean f/2.8 at 24mm, and f/6.5 at 2,000mm.
