Thank you Angela! I have been trying to buckle down and get better instead of shooting a hundred pictures and getting one.:):) The Sun going down helped with the lighting too.:)

Thank you Mike! The sun was with me just at the right time. They have the weirdest eyes of any of the birds we have around here. :)

Well good for you Erv, Eagles are a lot harder to find and shoot, it's good you have your own species in Medina. Ohio has always been a special State, and they deserve their own Eagle, hope they nest in you yard, can't wait to see some Medina Eaglets. Very well done, please post some more. :D :D :D :D

Thank you Paula!!!! I am trying to get the shots right the first time now. And I have found if I whistle just a little they seem to wonder what the heck I am and stay a while looking at me.:):) But having the 80-400 helps a lot!!!:)

Janny sits out with me once in a while. She starts laughing when they come closer for a look. And I send her back in the house.:):)

Thanks Greg!!!:):) They love my yard. They all get feed really good stuff.:):) If we have another winter like this one I might have to go get a second job.:)

I got called to work last night. So I have a few more to post. I didn't get home till 2:30 and was pretty beat.

LOL!!! Hi Sally. This is with the 80-400. Not very good lighting as the Sun was going down. And it is right out of the camera. Just cropped. If you look at all the birdie posts it is the same lens and just cropped.:)

Ya it is a special breed. And they are very rare and only come to the yard during the evening hours. :):)

Some of those Medina Eagles showed up here this morning, along with a flock of Red-winged Blackbirds passing through. What a racket. Purple finches, too, which I would love to get some photos of, but so far they are being pretty skittish. The Medina Eagles were trying to get me to take their picture, but I told them Erv already handled that one for us. :lol:
