So where's the shots of the Mariposa grove of giant Sequoias? That's where I have to "put up" with six months of the year for a paycheck. (Do you feel sorry for me yet?) For those of you going, look me up, I'm a tram driver/tour guide there. I'm the one smiling all the time.

All I can say that you are very lucky to spend 6 months among giant Sequoias & Mariposa, I am sure you have many stories to tell. I will definitly look for you next time I am in Yosemeti. :)

Some nice images of a special place.

Yosemite is about an hour south of where I live. I love it in the early spring, late fall, and the winter when the roads are clear. Too many people in the summer for me, and I am getting too old for hiking the high country any more. It truly is a wonderful place.

I spent two weeks backpacking the John Muir trail back in the 50's. . .wonderful time.
