I have checked Canon and Amazon web sites and remotes are shown, but no indication if applicable to SX50HS. What are others using?

I performs well...does what it supposed to do...you'll find it more than satisfactory...remotes out to 50ft

Thanks for both the question and the answer. I ordered one also. Doubt I would have found it on my own. It was listed but didn't seem to obvious.

If you look down the page accessed by your link, in the Q&A, it says that this does not work with the SX50...
