Could anyone help me find the correct paper ICC profiles for a Canon Pro-1 printer? I went to the Epson website where I was told I would find them for Epson papers only to discover that they only seem to have profiles for their own printers. Thank you. Todd

You may be out of luck here. The major printer makers usually do not publish ICC profiles for their direct competitors papers. After all, they have a vested interest in having you use their printer AND their papers, so they generally don't provide any help that makes it easy to do otherwise. This is different than third party paper manufacturers where it is to their advantage to make profiles available for as many printers as possible. I have tried, but have never been able to track down Epson profiles for Canon printers or vice versa.

Here is a source of Canon Pro-1 profiles for third party papers - but not Epson. You see Epson also makes printers which puts them in direct competition. Epson probably doesn't provide profiles for Canon papers either.

You're trying to use Epson paper in a Canon printer? I have never had any luck in printing on one manufacturer's printer using another one's paper. Every experiment I've ever attempted has been an abject failure except with some very plain card stock with no coatings. I don't think you're going to have much success with this idea.

Just use a third party 's paper with their profiles (free) if you buy their paper. Less hassle great results

I actually use Canon paper, Ilford and Red River on Epson printers.

No you are not going to find ICC profiles at Canon or Epson for the others product. Ilford and Red River have ICC profiles for most brands and models.

For the Canon paper, I use a ColorMunki by Xrite to create my own profiles and calibrate my monitors.
