I used to moderate at a sandcarving forum for a few years. Forgive me if it is not polite here, but at that forum, putting things in bold, italic, or colors, was seen as giving things emphasis and making it easier to read things. It actually takes a little extra work, so if I had realized it was considered rude here or perhaps even in many arenas (as was just pointed out to me), I would not have gone the extra mile.

Nobody is "screaming" here. Truth be told, I am rather gentile and soft spoken . . . .but I have to call a spade a spade and say that things really get heated here and out of proportion easily.

Ask a simple question, and it seem half the folks start throwing around daggers, while the other half is busy just stirring things up and adding confusion. (However, this certainly excludes a few of you, and I suspect you already know who you are  )

Maybe I will just run off with SharpShooter and blow this joint.

Some are quite a bit over sensitive... they mistake emphasis, for yelling.
Still others think they can read things in that are really just friendly banter.

That said, I usually take "Caps Lock on" as somebody who may have poorer eyesight than me and needs the bigger font to see what they wrote.

Bold, Italic, and Underline are for emphasis and expression. To draw the eye to notice the text, and message.
Just like Links, hot linked pics, colors and quotes are all net tools.

But for somebody to get their widdle feelwings hurted because they think bold, underlined, or combinations of the same is someone yelling at them...
Well, they really need to grow a pair and grow up. Or go to the kiddie section.

I bought a lens from KEH and the cost was very good. It did not work on my nikon d3100. It works perfectly on my Nikon d7100. So I highly recommend you do the research and can even call them before you purchase it.

Hold you guns SS, she's just flirting with you cause SonnyE is playing "hard-to-get". Sand carvings can get kinda kinky, don't you know!

I've had good results with factory refurbs (from Nikon directly as well as from camera dealers).

The seller of the 16-28 was affiliated with TOKINA and I just got a message from them and the warranty is there and I had just missed it. So perhaps the real problem is that I tend to panic a little prematurely. . . or have too much coffee in the morning, whichever comes first.

I shop eBay all the time for almost everything, especially since there is not much here up at 10,200 feet. For the most part, I do really well.

In fact, I actually bought the best car I've ever owned on eBay. . .sight seen. . . . . and 12 years later it's still running. :P
Yeah. I think this lens is fine. . . br The selle... (show quote)

Just for the record. I buy and sell on eBay and have been doing so since 1999. I've been burned twice, on minor items, and both sellers were in Florida if that means anything.
