I see that with CS 8 the system requirements are different than those for Lightroom 4. The new Lightroom required either Windows Vista or Windows 7. Photoshop CS 6 also will work with the Windows XP operating system. I wonder if they'll change just before final release?
A note to folks when looking at upgrades, always check the "System Requirements" before you download or buy. It will save much frustration. Also, if you aren't planning on upgrading, this could be the start of a good season to get some of those filters and plug-in's that you've been wanting as they'll be writing new for CS 6.
Yeah, I read that also. Too bad they don't make a version for Windows ME. I think Me and Vista were the best operating systems ever put out by Microsoft.
Working with text has been a nightmare in Photoshop. Every slight change required you to change every single text layer, which could take a lot of time in many cases. Now I can update every single layer with just one click. Good job Adobe!

99.999999% of the PC world would completely disagree with you on that. I've spent the last few years thinking I'm the only person on earth who likes Vista on my laptops and hasn't had any problems.
 I like your sense of humor!

I also liked Vista. However, I like 7 even more. To me those are the two best Windows versions.
