Nice job Brent. How did you get that Oracle shot? were you on shore at the Cup in the SF Bay or on board one of the committee boats? I got some great shots up there but your crop and color treatment used here are great.

Well fotowerks, I kind of cheated in a way to get that Oracle photo. True, I did take the photo.......BUT I took the photo from my TV set while watching a short video about the race. I am fascinated by the Oracle and the race in the San Francisco Bay. It's an amazing water craft for sure. I would have loved to be there like you were and photograph it live.

It was a lucky convergence of circumstance but I found myself in the Bay Area at a time coinciding with the race, and being a life long fan of the America's Cup, had to be there. I will try to post some images to this thread tomorrow as well as some from he Match races in San Diego the previous year where the teams were flying the half scale version of these magnificent craft. They have been archived, otherwise I would have posted them here.
