TV sure has changed. Do hate those teleprompters. Seems like everyone is afraid to do impromptu statements.

http://milkandcookies.com/link/138148The chemistry between Carson and McMahon was pure magic, and the guests ! This was THE Tonight Show, what a great time for TV, a real golden age.
All you needed was a B&W TV and some rabbit ears and there were talk and variety shows , you name it, all on a handful of stations that went off the air by 2 am.
Today it is 24 hours and hundreds of stations, and everyone is looking for high definition, more channels , a TV in every room , etc., etc ., etc., but it can't come even close to those golden years , that was entertainment.
Now that was entertainment at it's best.
Thanks, :) :) :)
