#1 gets my vote. They are all very interesting. Have you tried that kind if effect on any different photo?

Well the first time I looked at them I thought #2. But going back and looking...I like #1 better. What is Arches watercolor paper, and how big are you going to make it?

Thank you for your comments. To answer your question, Arches is a French company that has been making watercolor paper for decades. Over the years I have tried various papers, both for my watercolors and for printing my photography. Aches coldpress watercolor papers work best for me. I love the texture/surface, how it takes and holds color, and its color. I can print the 90 lb and the 140 lb papers in my big Epson printer.

Yes, thousands of times. . .yet each one tends to end up a little different. The images tend to dictate what direction I take them.

I prefer #1 because I like my images (artwork?) to be as close to the original as possible. Although I wouldn't say no to #2. I don't care for #3 because I don't think of the image itself as oriental in theme. I tend to think of rice wine when thinking oriental.
#1 for sure.

Opus 1 is getting lots of votes, as well as Opus 2. Opus 3, while not as many votes, certainly have received a significate number of votes. I am thinking that any one of these images, properly printed and framed in a gallery, would find a buyer??

Speaking only for myself--the only person I can legitimately speak for--I'd pick #2.

I do watercolors, and personally I like the values in 1. Draws your eye to the grapes. Should be interesting printed on Arches paper. Give you even more texture

it is always hard to post 3 and get voters to agree....I LIKE #3...very artsy, creative, and I feel when you process things from reality the further you go the better. It becomes its own distinct art form.
