It's a gray area now. There are articles on the internet on various forums that discuss no fly zones mostly concerning airports. DJI is a good source of information. I have posted articles on restrictions here in different threads and even suggested a new forum dealing with drones and still and video photography. Admin doesn't think there is enough interest. Apparently their IS a problem with using drones for commercial purposes. As usual the government (FAA) is slow to respond to changes in technology.

I picked up a copy of this last week at Books-a-Million. The market is exploding and photography potential is unlimited whether for commercial use or just as a hobby. Just imagine the photos you could take from perspectives that before were be impossible. At the beach I would have to pay $800 an hour to fly with a light plane or helicopter to film resort property. and I would be severely limited on altitude and location. With a quad-copter you can do a better job at a fraction of the price.

I'm going to start a new thread asking how many of us here would be interested in a forum on UHH for drone photography. We can share links to videos and stills and discuss the regulations and share info on the technology.

Thanks for the kind words. I do seek truth. I don't know how much I find, but at least I'm looking. I present my findings in hopes that others, like yourself, join in and collectively help figure out what is otherwise hidden from us. My only agenda is to get through this mine field of a life unharmed. I wish this for everyone, even those who step on nails intentionally. There are medical terms for crap that doesn't even exist, just so you can be written a prescription for some bullshit pharmaceutical that will be next years class action law suit.

You had one person ( a structural engineer I believe) that agreed with your theory of what COULD have happened. You attempted to use that info as a quote that he did not make and he bailed on you. I can't remember his user name but I'm sure you remember the event. How can you really believe that our government or the Israelis or both could set up the demolition and arranged for the aircraft to hit the towers in a coordinated strike and with all the people that would have to be involved nothing ever leaked out. Get over your insane paranoia and get back to photography. I've seen your work from of the scenery in Texas and you're pretty damn good. Get back into the real world.

You're right about the pharmaceutical industry. I'm dealing with elderly parents and other family members that are drugged out of their minds. I've talked with several people that have weaned themselves off of certain medications and their lives have changed dramatically. For the better. I realize some medications are needed. I take a pill for high blood pressure which with more exercise and a change in diet would probably not be necessary. I'm about 6 ft and weigh about 225 so I'm not obese but I do need to be in better shape.
